My name is Dr Vikky Petch and I am a Chartered Psychologist and a Registered Clinical Psychologist.  I have worked for over 20 years  as a child psychologist so have lots of experience in working with children, adolescents and families in Surrey.  I have 2 children myself so have first hand experience of the demands of parenting!

 

Growing up and parenting doesn't come with a manual and at times children and families can find  it tough going!  Difficulties can gradually creep up over time or can be the result of a sudden event or experience.  I aim to help parents, children and teenagers make sense of their experiences and then work to address their difficulties.  I work from a non-blaming, collaborative perspective, tailoring my work to suit individual needs and circumstances.
 

I am based in Leatherhead and see clients from the surrounding Surrey area.  I provide psychological assessment, therapy and counselling for a whole range of different difficulties. I also provide supervision for Clinical and Counselling Psychologists. I am trained in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and own a horse, Oliver, who I practice this with. 
 

I offer an ADHD / ASC assessment and diagnostic service in Leatherhead. It work closely with a number of professional including Dr Melanie Smart at www.chichesterchildpsychology.co.uk.  All assessments include an in person appointment.
